This privacy policy applies to the website at sokudeku.app. We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional and user-friendly website. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking.

Right to erasure (Art. 17) — deletion of personal data concerning you, unless processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.

Server Logs

Our web server (Caddy) automatically processes data that is transmitted by your browser for technical reasons to ensure a secure and stable website. This includes type and version of your browser, operating system, the website from which you came (referrer URL), the pages of our website you visit, date and time of each access, and your IP address.

This data is temporarily stored and not combined with other data. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

This data is deleted or blocked once the purpose of storage ceases, provided that no statutory retention obligations require further storage.

Hosting

This website is hosted on servers located in Germany by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. For technical reasons, data is transmitted to Hetzner as described under Server Logs above. We have concluded a data processing agreement (Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag) with Hetzner in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Basic Authentication

The download page uses password protection. The password is sent to our server for verification via HTTP Basic Authentication. It is not stored on our servers or in your browser beyond the current session. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting downloadable content from unauthorized access.

API Key by Email

To download the demo app, we ask you to provide your email address. Your email address is used solely to send you the API key required to use the app. The email is sent immediately and the address is not stored on our servers beyond the time needed to send the email. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR — the processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (providing you access to the app). Providing your email is voluntary, but without it we cannot send you the API key.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

Third-Party Services

This website does not embed third-party content, analytics, or advertising. Self-hosted fonts are served from our own server and do not transmit data to third parties.

Data Retention

Personal data processed during the use of our website is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases, provided that no statutory retention obligations require further storage and no different information is provided for individual processing procedures above.
